Keeping in line with our strategy and as communicated earlier, we proudly present to you our new web-site. This site is our foundation for a 'new age e-commerce platform' designed to fulfill aspirations of an empowered consumer like you.
Operations in India;
As you already know, our application for establishing a permanent establishment in India is awaiting government clearance.We really hope that we get a nod from the Government of India, in the coming weeks.
We did send a few test payments for the panelists and our suppliers for "rewards" in the last 15 days, sadly these amounts were not credited by their banks due to certain precautionary circulars issued by the Reserve Bank of India.
We have already put in process all the necessary actions with the competent authorities for allowing us to resume our normal banking operations.
In the meantime, with launch of this new web-site, you will be able to earn and burn your accrued reward points by buying products and services on the SpeakAsia platform. You will also be able to get subscription codes using your referral income.

As you are aware, there will be a transition from the existing website to the completely new look website on Sunday, 10th July, 2011. Due to this transition activity, no surveys will be sent between 6th July – 19th July. The surveys will start coming to you on the new look site from Wednesday i.e 20th July, 2011. An extension of 2 weeks will be given in lieu of the surveys missed during this transition period.

Greetings, we are announcing some new measures for moving forward which reflects our consistent approach for taking the business forward along with our Speak Asian community. We wish to reassure all Speak Asians that Company is putting all its efforts in ensuring the best interest of panelists.
1. We are holding a business re-start meeting on July 9th in Mumbai. This meeting shall constitute all the Managers, Distributors of SAOL, The discussion will be primarily on the process involved for going further.
2. We are here to work with you for a great future for which a local presence will be important for moving forward as we grow together. Speak Asia is launching a new India centric website on July 10th. The site will provide information on products, services offered by Speak Asia and show case on how to burn your reward points. We regret for the delay in launch of the site which is largely due to reasons beyond our control .However we are sure that once the operations begin there is no looking back.
3. We will soon be moving into a spanking new office, our permanent establishment (PE) in Mumbai. As you read this communication , finishing touches to inspiring design for the new office are being given and this large liaison office will be the hub of our joint growth.

At last Prime Minister has accepted the request to investigate Speak Asia Online. Prime Minister Office has forwarded the complains to ministry of Corporate Affiairs (MCA), Reserve Bank of India (RBI),Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the home secretary & the finance secretary. It has also been requested from PMO to put the investigation at speedy track to keep the interest of 20 lakhs investors safe.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) forwarded the complaints filed by Kirit Somaiya, former member of parliament (MP) and national secretary of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) along with the complaints of party MPs Prakash Javdekar and Hansraj Ahir.
Already the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Income Tax (IT) department investigating against Speak Asia and during the initial investigation all bank accounts of the company’s franchisees have been frozen, where estimated frozen amount is more than 100 crores. The current investigation would mainly look into financial irregularities, money collection and remittances abroad.
Earlier ministry of corporate affairs had said that it would not take any action against Speak Asia. “Speak Asia is not registered in India so we cannot initiate any investigation against it. MCA does not have any database of the company,” corporate affairs secretary DK Mittal had told media persons. But now it will be interesting to see, what will be MCA’s response to the complain forwarded by prime minister office.
Our Advice: Unless a clean chit is given by government, wait till all allegations are over. Do not put your self at stake. Stick with your people and when finally cash request is opened, just simply ask for the transfer of cash.
